Korea Forest Welfare Institute, 'Photo and Drawing Contest' on Forest Welfare Theme
The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 24th that it will accept submissions for the "2023 National Forest Welfare Participation Photo and Drawing Contest" until the 23rd of next month.
The contest is divided into two categories: drawings and photographs.
The drawing contest is for kindergarten and elementary school children (including preschool children such as those in daycare centers) who visit institutions affiliated with the Forest Welfare Institute, with the theme "Happy Memories in the Forest."
Submissions can be made by receiving drawing paper at the visited institution, creating the drawing, and submitting it along with the participation application form received on site.
The photo contest, themed "Forest Welfare Facilities, Natural Scenery, and Experience Programs," is open to all citizens. To enter, applicants must download the application form from the Forest Welfare Institute website, complete it, and submit it along with the original photo to the Forest Welfare Institute Operations Office via email.
The Forest Welfare Institute plans to select a total of 42 outstanding works through expert judging. Winners will receive the Director's Award and prize money (Onnuri gift certificates worth a total of approximately 4.4 million KRW).
The contest results will be announced on the Forest Welfare Institute website at the end of next month. The final selected outstanding works will be used for forest welfare exhibitions, booklets, and other promotional materials.
