Ulsan Ulju-gun Participates in 'Boom Up Korea Export Consultation'
Ulsan's Ulju-gun participated in the '2023 Second Half Boom-up Korea Export Consultation (Korea Biz-Trade Show 2023)' held at KINTEX Ilsan on the 18th and 19th, operating a special pavilion.
This Ulju-gun special pavilion, prepared as part of the overseas buyer invitation support project, was planned to promote products of local small and medium-sized enterprises related to materials, parts, and equipment (SoBuJang) struggling to develop overseas sales channels and to support matching with overseas buyers.
The export consultation event involved overseas buyers from 700 companies across 62 countries, connected through 129 KOTRA trade offices worldwide.
At the Ulju-gun special pavilion, 14 local companies were promoted, and as overseas buyers interested in Korean products continued to visit, a total of 29 consultations were conducted. The export consultation amount was approximately 11.4 million US dollars, and the contract promotion amount reached 2.04 million US dollars.
One of the participating companies from Ulju-gun, Poongsung Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on-site with the Turkish company ‘EB Su Jeti’ for the export of heat exchanger automatic cleaning machines.

An official from Ulju-gun stated, “We expect that the overseas buyer invitation support project will open new overseas sales channels for Ulju-gun export companies,” and added, “We will continue to actively support efforts to enter overseas markets and build export networks.”
