Gyeonggawon to Host 'Startup Investment Conference & Global Day' Early Next Month
Gyeonggi Province is hosting the ‘Startup Investment Conference & Global Day’.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency announced on the 24th that it will hold the ‘2023 Startup Investment Conference & Global Day’ on November 1st at the Pangyo Startup Campus to support promising local startups in attracting domestic and international investments and expanding overseas.
At this event, 15 teams selected from startups participating in this year’s ‘Gyeonggi Startup Platform Investment Linkage Support Program’ and ‘Global Accelerating (Nurturing) Program’ will conduct investment attraction company presentations (IR).
The agency will provide participating companies with various benefits, including ▲ one-on-one expert mentoring ▲ training to strengthen investment attraction and IR capabilities ▲ pre-demo day ▲ verification of suitability for overseas market entry.

Kang Seong-cheon, head of the agency, stated, "Gyeonggi Province has declared a vision to nurture 3,000 knowledge-based venture startups and create 2 million pyeong of venture startup space in 20 areas within the province, including Pangyo." He added, "Going forward, the agency will accelerate infrastructure development and support program creation to build Gyeonggi Province into a startup paradise."
