Daksah, Professor Hwang Seok-jin of Dongguk University Appointed as New Advisory Member
The Digital Asset Exchange Joint Council (DAXA), consisting of the top five Korean won market exchanges Gopax, Bithumb, Upbit, Korbit, and Coinone, announced on the 24th that Professor Hwang Seok-jin of Dongguk University Graduate School of International Information Security has been newly appointed as an advisory committee member.
Professor Hwang currently serves as a member of the People Power Party's Digital Asset Special Committee, an advisory member for the development of the Republic of Korea Army, an investigative advisory member for the Coast Guard, and vice president of the Korea Anti-Money Laundering Association. He is known as an expert in investor protection.

Kim Jae-jin, DAXA's Executive Vice Chairman, stated, "We have appointed a new advisory committee member at an important time ahead of the enforcement of the Act on the Protection of Virtual Asset Users." He added, "Based on his extensive experience and expertise in the industry, we expect him to contribute to enhancing the objectivity and effectiveness of the self-regulation that DAXA is preparing."
