Mackis Company’s Soju 'Seonyang' Embarks on First Export to Australia
Mackiss Company announced on the 24th that its zero sugar soju 'Seonyang' has embarked on its first export to Australia.
On the previous day, Mackiss Company held a shipment ceremony at the Odong factory located in Seo-gu, Daejeon Metropolitan City to commemorate the first export of Seonyang to Australia.
The initial shipment volume of Seonyang exported to Australia is 1,540 boxes, totaling 38,000 bottles. This initial quantity will be distributed mainly in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, covering the states of New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, through major supermarkets such as Woolworths and Coles, as well as restaurants, wholesalers, and liquor stores.

Mackiss Company plans to gradually increase export volumes while monitoring local responses. Additionally, discussions are underway to export Seonyang to Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines and Laos, where the popularity of Korean soju is gradually increasing due to the spread of K-culture, beyond Australia.
