260 Business Consultations, $32 Million in Consultation Amount
The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) announced on the 23rd that it operated a Korean joint pavilion at GITEX North Star Dubai, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from the 15th to the 18th, achieving 260 business consultations and consultation amounts totaling 32 million USD (approximately 43.4 billion KRW).
GITEX North Star Dubai is the largest startup event in the Middle East. This year's themes were artificial intelligence, metaverse, mobile, and cybersecurity. More than 1,800 startups from over 100 countries and over 900 investment firms participated. Eight companies, including Writers Company, ToonPlus, MetaUniverse, Pablo Aviation, ShareBox, Pampy, Kriverse, and Adler, participated in the Korean joint pavilion, showcasing the excellence of K-content startups.

In particular, Adler, Kriverse, Pampy, and ShareBox advanced to the semifinals of the pitching competition "Supernova Challenge," proving their competitiveness. Yoon Ok Yoo, head of KOCCA's Content-Based Division, said, "The combination of new technologies and content stood out," adding, "We will spare no effort to strengthen startup capabilities and support overseas expansion."
