Gwanak-gu Hosts Traditional Market Harmony Festival for Small Business Owners
In Celebration of Small Business Owners' Day, Joint Promotion Event by 30 Excellent Small Businesses and Traditional Market Vendors in Gwanak-gu from October 25 to October 27
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) will hold the ‘Gwanak-gu Small Business and Traditional Market Harmony Festival’ from October 25 to 27.
The ‘Gwanak-gu Small Business and Traditional Market Harmony Festival’ is an initiative by the district to promote merchants’ products and support sales growth. Thirty small businesses and traditional market vendors from the district will gather in one place to showcase their representative products to residents.
The main items include ▲clothing ▲accessories ▲handmade goods categorized as ‘daily necessities’ and traditional market signature products such as ‘agricultural, marine, and livestock products.’
The district plans to encourage small business owners and attract local residents’ attention by holding performances under the theme “Strong Power Connecting Small Things!” to overcome difficult economic conditions.
In particular, the district will award commendations to 14 individuals who have contributed to revitalizing the local economy to boost the pride of small business owners.
Additionally, a special event will be held where customers who purchase above a certain amount will receive various prizes sponsored by member companies, aiming to increase residents’ interest in small businesses and encourage the use of traditional markets.
