Asia's Largest 'AdAsia 2023 Seoul' Opens on the 25th
Asia's largest advertising digital marketing festival, 'AdAsia 2023 Seoul,' officially opens on the 25th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, the organizers announced on the 23rd.
Hosted by the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA) and organized by the Korea Federation of Advertising Associations, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, AdAsia 2023 Seoul will run for four days from the 24th pre-event to the official opening ceremony on the 25th through the 27th.
AdAsia has been held every two years since its inception at the Tokyo event in 1958, and this is the third time it is held in Korea, following Seoul in 1984 and Jeju in 2007.
The theme of AdAsia is "Change·Play·Connect: Transform·Play·Connect," which signifies that the value of marketing and advertising lies not merely in selling products but in delivering joy to consumers and connecting the world through it. At AdAsia 2023 Seoul, the event aims to redefine advertising and marketing in the era of digital transformation, bringing together global experts and companies in advertising, digital marketing, and content fields to share innovative ideas and success stories. It is also regarded as an optimal opportunity to energize the overseas expansion of Korean digital advertising companies.
The pre-event will be held on the 24th at Seoul DDP, and from the 25th to the 27th at COEX, Seoul, over 130 global experts in advertising, digital content, media, public relations, creativity, and marketing will deliver lectures, conferences, workshops, and related side events.
Unlike past events that focused mainly on conferences and workshops, AdAsia 2023 Seoul facilitates active on-site networking among startups in Korea and Asia's IT, Ad-Tech, and big data sectors to enable new business creation. A Biz Market, a showcase and exhibition consultation venue, is prepared for IT-based advertising marketing companies from various Asian countries to provide practical support to participating companies.
