Ulsan City to Host This Year's Youth Policy Learning Center 'Smart! Youth'
Policy Training on 28-29, Support for Youth Organization Independence
Ulsan City will hold the 2023 Youth Policy Learning Center 'Knock Knock! Youth' at the Youth Job Center training hall for two days on the 28th and 29th.
This event carries the meaning of encouraging youth to 'knock on the door and get introduced to youth policies and youth activities, and become smarter through learning.'
The event is designed to expand youth participation in policies and support the strengthening of youth's autonomous activity capabilities and the independence of youth organizations through education on youth policies, budgets, financial flows, public contest projects, and subsidies.
The main educational contents include six lectures and two practical sessions: ▲Understanding Youth Policy ▲How Policies Become Projects and Budgets ▲Flow and Process of Local Finance ▲Understanding Non-Profit Organizations ▲Participating in Public Contest Projects ▲Subsidy Accounting Practices.
In particular, during the practical sessions, participants will learn how to find and understand Ulsan City's youth policies and budgets, how to read related materials, and how to write applications for public contest projects, fostering the ability to operate sustainable projects and organizations rather than one-time activities.
Applications can be made online by referring to the bulletin board of the 'Ulsan Youth Policy Platform Upage.' The program is open to 50 youth aged 19 to 39 who reside or are active in Ulsan, on a first-come, first-served basis.
