‘Shoot~ Goal!’ ... Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Plays Soccer with Children
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, spent a meaningful time on the afternoon of the 21st, the second day of the Saeujeot Festival, serving as a referee for the 'Children's Soccer Play' with about 30 children from the Seoul Seogang Elementary School soccer team.
The event featured Kim Heung-guk, famous for his love of soccer, and former national soccer player Cho Won-hee, who shared soccer skills with the young players and safely led the game.
Before and after the match, the children created unforgettable memories by getting autographs on their uniforms and balls from Mayor Park Gang-su, Kim Heung-guk, and Cho Won-hee.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "Playing soccer with the children made me feel like I returned to my childhood," and added, "This year’s Saeujeot Festival also features a playground with attractions such as a Viking ship and air bounce for children, so I hope many people come and enjoy."
