Namwon-si Noam-dong 'Our Neighborhood Full of Affection Sharing Project' Promotion

Noam-dong, Namwon-si, Jeonbuk, announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with Hanshin Banchan (CEO Park Hyuk) and will promote the ‘Our Neighborhood Jeongi Gadeukchan (饌)’ sharing project for vulnerable groups who have difficulty preparing meals starting this month.

This project was initiated by reflecting the needs of households visited daily by the district head as part of the one-household-per-day communication administration, most of which face difficulties in preparing meals due to old age and illness, with support from local side dish stores.

Hanshin Banchan, located in the Hanshin Apartment shopping area, will provide carefully prepared side dishes to 3 to 5 households twice a month within the year, while strengthening health status and welfare checks.

Park Hyuk, CEO of Hanshin Banchan, said, “I wanted to participate in donating side dishes but only had the intention; I am grateful and happy to have this good opportunity.”

The head of Noam-dong said, “Through the Our Neighborhood Jeongi Gadeukchan (饌) sharing project, we aim to spread a culture of sharing in the Noam-dong area and create a community atmosphere of coexistence,” adding, “We will continue to strive to ensure that vulnerable groups are not left out.”
