Samyang Foods Launches 'Tom Yam Buldak Bokkeumtangmyeon' Tailored for Overseas Markets
Sales Regions Expected to Expand to Asia and Others Following U.S. Launch
Samyang Foods announced on the 20th that it will launch a new export-only Buldak brand product, ‘Tom Yum Buldak Bokkeum Tangmyeon,’ in the U.S. market.
Tom Yum Buldak Bokkeum Tangmyeon is a product that combines the traditional Thai dish ‘tom yum’ with Buldak Bokkeum Myeon. It harmonizes the spicy and sour flavors of tom yum with the spiciness of Buldak to create a tangy yet sweet and spicy broth, enhanced with various spices such as lime and coriander to bring out the authentic flavor of tom yum.
Tom Yum Buldak Bokkeum Tangmyeon was developed targeting the Asian population in the U.S. and locals who prefer Asian cuisine. Samyang Foods continues to expand its product lineup reflecting the diverse races and cultures coexisting in the U.S. market. Previously, it launched ‘Corn Buldak Bokkeum Myeon’ for locals not accustomed to spicy flavors and ‘Habanero Lime Buldak Bokkeum Myeon’ targeting the Hispanic population.
Since the U.S. sales subsidiary ‘Samyang America,’ which started operations last year, is actively expanding its distribution network, Samyang Foods plans to strengthen its product portfolio and rapidly expand its presence in the U.S. market.
