'2023 Hwaseong Mobility Exhibition' Successfully Concluded
60 Mobility Companies Including Hyundai Motor and Kia Participate
257 Export Consultations Achieve $416 Million in Deals
Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 19th that the '2023 Hwaseong Mobility Exhibition,' held over two days from the 17th to the 18th at SINTEX of Suwon Science College, concluded successfully.

The exhibition featured 60 domestic mobility companies, including Hyundai Motor Company and Kia, showcasing the latest mobility technologies across 100 booths. The event included ▲export consultations ▲investment consultations ▲technical seminars for participating companies.
The export consultation saw buyers from 48 companies across 19 countries participate, and the city explained that the participating companies achieved a total of 257 consultations, amounting to $416 million (approximately 564.7 billion KRW) in consultation results. Notably, Company I, which participated in the exhibition, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) worth $600,000 on-site with Company G from Jordan.
At the investment consultation, 10 participating companies held investor relations (IR) presentations targeting 10 domestic venture capital (VC) firms, successfully attracting about 8 billion KRW in investments.
Meanwhile, at the exhibition, visitors experienced the importance of seat belts firsthand through a rotating rollover simulator prepared in collaboration with the Korea Expressway Corporation, and various hands-on programs such as drone piloting and e-mobility test rides were also showcased.

Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong City, said, “Although this is Hwaseong City's first mobility exhibition, we are very pleased to have achieved remarkable results,” adding, “As Hwaseong prepares to become a city of one million vehicles, we will actively strive to maintain our status as a leading city in the mobility industry.”
