Ulsan Included in Travel Packages for US Immigrants
20-40 Visitors Weekly to Tourist Attractions Until Year-End
The Korean diaspora visiting group from the Americas region travels to Ulsan every week to tour major tourist attractions.
Ulsan City announced that U.S. Asia Tour travel agency's promotional tourism products targeting immigrants in Los Angeles, USA, include tourist sites in the Ulsan area, and that the Korean diaspora visiting group from the Americas region has been visiting Ulsan weekly since March.
The visiting group mainly consists of family travelers, with 20 to 40 people per week expected to visit, totaling around 500 people by the end of this year.
The promotional products include two options: ▲4-day East Sea tour ▲6-day Jeju + East Sea tour, visiting about seven major tourist cities in Korea, with visits to Ulsan every Thursday.
Travelers visit Ulsan for a 1-night, 2-day itinerary, touring Daewangam Park and Ulsan Bridge Observatory, which are selected as part of the "Top 100 Korean Tourist Attractions," stay overnight at Lotte Hotel Ulsan, and then move to other regions the next day.

An official from Ulsan City said, “The Korean diaspora visiting group has visited Ulsan every year since 2019 but stopped during the COVID-19 period, and now Ulsan travel has resumed,” adding, “To respond to the recovery demand of international tourism, we will actively engage in marketing to attract foreign tourists by developing various tourism products and supporting customer recruitment activities.”
