President Yoon: "The International Community Must Send a Message That North Korea's Illegal Nuclear Missiles Are Unacceptable"
President Yoon Suk-yeol said on the 18th, "The international community must continue to send a strong message that it will never tolerate North Korea's illegal development of nuclear missiles."
On the same day, during a meeting with the delegation of the United Nations Conference of Presidents of General Assembly (UNCPGA), President Yoon stated, "North Korea is continuing unprecedented provocations and even threatening a preemptive nuclear strike against our country," according to the presidential office.
President Yoon also said, "I appreciate the UNCPGA's leadership in promoting peace, justice, and human rights in the international community," and urged, "Please continue to lead cooperation so that the international community can build a norm-based order and unite based on universal values."
