Ulsan Ulju-gun Provides Free Influenza Vaccinations Independently
Ulju-gun, Ulsan, will implement its own influenza vaccination support program starting from the 23rd to prepare for the influenza outbreak.
The eligible groups are residents of Ulju-gun who are ▲14 to 18 years old ▲50 to 64 years old ▲basic livelihood security recipients, persons with disabilities, and national merit recipients. The vaccination will be administered using the quadrivalent influenza vaccine, with 65 medical institutions in Ulju-gun participating.
Eligible individuals can receive free vaccinations by bringing identification and proof documents such as a resident registration certificate to the designated medical institutions.
The list of designated medical institutions can be found on the Ulju-gun Public Health Center website. Since vaccines may run out early, it is necessary to check the availability of vaccination before visiting the medical institution.
The flu vaccine can be administered on the same day as the COVID-19 vaccine. However, the injection sites must be different, and after vaccination, individuals should remain at the hospital or clinic for 15 to 20 minutes to monitor for any adverse reactions before going home. For more details about influenza vaccination, please contact the Family Health Team at the Ulju-gun Public Health Center.
