Naver Cloud Introduces AI Roadmap in Singapore
Naver Cloud announced on the 18th that it participated in the 'Korea-Singapore Digital Innovation Seminar' at the 'Big Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) World' held last week at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, introducing its cloud and AI technologies.
The 'Korea-Singapore Digital Innovation Seminar' was hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Invest Korea, and Yangjae AI Hub. It was held to attract investment from local Singaporean companies to Korea and to share information. At the event, Naver Cloud was selected as a representative success case of entering the Singapore market and gave a presentation titled 'Naver Cloud's Global Expansion and AI Development Plans in Singapore.'
Hongseok Ahn, Head of Southeast Asia Business Development at Naver Cloud, who was in charge of the presentation, introduced that Naver Cloud Singapore Region can provide cloud services at the same level as in Korea. He emphasized that various AI services can be developed using Naver's 'HyperCLOVA X.' Furthermore, he mentioned that they aim to actively support AI-based digital innovation in Singapore by creating synergy effects across the Singaporean government and industries.
Naver Cloud is striving to expand its influence in the Southeast Asian market by enhancing the functions of the Singapore region and recently opening an office in Singapore. To expand the Southeast Asian cloud market, it has signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with global companies such as Intel, Nokia, and Cloud4C. It is also strengthening its global business competitiveness by being the first in Korea to acquire Singapore Cloud Security Certification (MTCS).

Ahn said, "Naver Cloud is continuously knocking on doors to accelerate the introduction of cloud and AI technologies not only in Korea but also in the Southeast Asian market centered on Singapore," adding, "Since all Naver Cloud services aim for the global market, we will make further efforts to lead AI innovation in the Southeast Asian market."
