HanmiGlobal Shares Data Center Business Trends and Solutions
'2023 Data Center Innovation Forum' Held
HanmiGlobal announced on the 18th that it will hold the '2023 Data Center Innovation Forum' on the 6th of next month in Conference Room 307 at COEX, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, targeting corporate officials preparing data center projects.
This forum will feature not only HanmiGlobal but also global cost management specialist Turner & Townsend, UK-based design engineering firm Bryden Wood known for its expertise in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) optimization, and global engineering and project management company ARUP.
Since COVID-19, the volume of processed information has surged, leading to higher server specifications and increased building floor area and project costs for data centers. Previously, data centers were mainly for public and financial institutions' own servers, but recently, demand for commercial data centers as investment products centered on asset management and investment firms has been rising. Cost reduction and shortening construction periods have become increasingly important as they are linked to profitability.
HanmiGlobal has distinguished itself in the data center sector with its project management (PM) services that efficiently oversee the entire construction project process on behalf of clients. It holds the largest number of domestic project records, including Naver’s data center 'Gak Chuncheon', Hana Financial Group’s integrated data center, and a commercial data center in Hyangdong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
A HanmiGlobal representative said, "Our strength lies in providing total services throughout all project stages from planning to completion, based on over 4,000 data center technical documents and expert personnel. Leveraging our extensive data center experience, we will explain issues to reduce technical trial and error in projects through case studies and provide practical, helpful information to those preparing for data center projects."
