LG Uplus, Incheon City, and Lotte Homeshopping Join Forces to Expand NFT Ecosystem
Priority Access to Newly Issued NFTs for NFT Holders of 3 Organizations
Free Incheon Tour Pass for Munakru NFT Holders
Online and Offline Benefits Linked Across 3 Companies
LG Uplus’ ‘Muneo Crew NFT’ announced on the 19th that it has established a cooperative system with Incheon City’s ‘Heroes NFT’ and Lotte Homeshopping’s ‘Bellygom NFT’ to expand the NFT ecosystem. This collaboration is a public-private partnership project aimed at enhancing the collectible value of NFTs while expanding customer benefits for each company. Customers (holders) who own NFTs from each company will actively collaborate to expand benefits using NFTs, such as providing priority acquisition rights (whitelist) for newly issued NFTs by the three companies.
As the first collaboration, LG Uplus will provide Muneo and Muneo Crew NFT holders with priority acquisition rights for the ‘Incheon Heroes NFT’ issued by Incheon City on the 25th. They will also be given the opportunity to participate in an event to receive the mobile ticket ‘Incheon City Tour Pass’ (worth 15,900 KRW), which allows unlimited use of major tourist attractions in Incheon.
Incheon City will issue the ‘Incheon Heroes NFT,’ which features the city’s character, the spotted seal, twice this year in October and December. The NFT carries a public interest purpose targeting the MZ generation through a story where the endangered spotted seals become superheroes to protect the environment of the Earth and the sea alongside citizens and participate in climate change efforts as part of ESG activities.
Lotte Homeshopping unveiled the Bellygom NFT last August, consisting of six levels of grades. It gained attention by offering fandom benefits related to the ‘Bellygom’ character and differentiated perks linked to Lotte Group affiliates, resulting in all 9,500 NFTs selling out immediately upon release.
