This promotion was planned to support national cultural activities. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Culture Day is a day that offers benefits such as discounts or free use of cultural facilities on the last Wednesday of every month and during that week. According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, over the past 10 years, a total of 210,000 'Culture Day' programs have been held nationwide, with an estimated 4.4 million participants.
The 'Hwasu 1+1' promotion prepared by Hanwha Hotels & Resorts offers a 50% discount on 2-night consecutive stay packages (excluding The Plaza). For stays on Tuesdays until November 29, 2023 (based on the stay date), guests receive the following night free of charge. For more details, please refer to the Hanwha Resort website.
On Culture Day, the last Wednesday of every month, visitors to Hanwha Resort leisure facilities can enjoy a 40% discount compared to the regular price. This is available at Seorak Waterpia, a hot spring theme park, and Gyeongju Pororo Aqua Village. The offer is valid until September 2024, and visitors need to show the event page on the Hanwha Resort website upon entry.
Hanwha Hotels & Resorts also supports the benefits of the Leisure-Friendly Certification system operated by the Regional Culture Promotion Foundation. The Leisure-Friendly Certification is a system that certifies companies and institutions that support balancing work and leisure. Employees of companies and institutions that have completed the Leisure-Friendly Certification receive a 40% discount when visiting Seorak Waterpia and Pororo Aqua Village. Presenting the event page along with a business card or employee ID on-site is required. The discount period is ongoing until September 2024, regardless of Culture Day.
