Professor Bae Jin-ah of the Department of Visual Studies at Kongju National University Appointed as Next President of the Korean Association for Journalism and Communication Studies
The Korean Association for Journalism Studies announced on the 17th that Professor Bae Jin-ah of the Department of Visual Studies at Kongju National University has been elected as the 51st president. The term will be one year, starting from October next year when the current executive term ends.

President-elect Bae graduated from the Department of Journalism and Broadcasting at Ewha Womans University and earned a master's degree in Journalism and Broadcasting and a Ph.D. in Media Studies from the same university.
She worked as a researcher at the Broadcasting Commission (now the Korea Communications Commission) and as a senior research fellow in the Programming Department at MBC, and has been a professor at Kongju National University since 2005.
