Professor Yeo Ho-geun, who organized the event, expressed hopes for the Expo bid by holding a sign that read "Let's all support the 2030 Busan World Expo bid" along with about 30 students enrolled in the 'Exhibition and Expo Planning Practice' course.

View original imageProfessor Yeo explained, "If the 2030 World Expo is held in Busan, it is expected that 30 to 35 million visitors will come to Busan, and tourism and MICE-related infrastructure and content will become significantly richer compared to before." He added, "The development of Busan's tourism and MICE industries, an economic effect estimated at 61 trillion won, and the creation of 500,000 jobs are anticipated, so the Expo must be held in Busan to create jobs for young people."
