Vehicle Damage and Threat to Pedestrians... Arrest Warrant Issued for Illegal Filipino Immigrant
The Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 17th that they have arrested and are investigating a man in his 20s of Philippine nationality, identified as A, on charges of damaging parked vehicles and threatening pedestrians (property damage, etc.).
According to the police, A is accused of damaging vehicles in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, around 4:30 a.m. on the 15th, and threatening pedestrians by shouting and charging at them.
A is also charged with throwing a folding cart at police officers who responded to the report (special obstruction of official duties). The police subdued A with a taser on the rooftop of the apartment where the incident occurred after he threw objects and attempted to flee, and arrested him on the spot. A was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the incident. No injuries have been reported.
