'The Outlaws 3' Wins Asia Audience Award at Sitges Film Festival
The 10 million viewer film 'Crime City 3' won the Best Audience Award at the 56th Sitges Fantastic Film Festival, the distributor announced on the 17th. The 'Crime City' series, which attracted 30 million viewers, also won the same award last year with its second installment, marking two consecutive years of winning.
'Crime City' was invited to the Orbita section of the 56th Sitges Fantastic Film Festival, which concluded on the 15th in Spain, and received the Focus Asia - Best Work Award in the Audience Award category. This follows its win of the Audience Award - Best Asia (Gold) at the 27th Fantasia Film Festival in Canada, which closed on August 9.
Director Lee Sang-yong, who directed the film, said, "I thank the Spanish audience for enjoying 'Crime City 3'." He added, "I hope to make the next series just as entertaining and have it screened again at the Sitges Film Festival."
