KT&G Welfare Foundation Supports 100 Compact Cars to Social Welfare Organizations Nationwide
Support for a Total of 2,200 Compact Cars Since 2004
KT&G Welfare Foundation announced on the 17th that it held the '2023 Social Welfare Institution Vehicle Delivery Ceremony' at the Seokgwan Silver Welfare Center in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and supported 100 compact cars to social welfare institutions nationwide.
KT&G Welfare Foundation has been supporting compact cars annually to facilitate smooth social welfare activities of local social welfare institutions. Considering the characteristics of welfare beneficiary areas with many narrow alleys, it supports compact passenger cars with excellent mobility, and the total number of vehicles delivered to social welfare institutions nationwide has reached 2,200 as of this year.
Each year, institutions eligible for vehicle support are selected through a public contest, and this year, about 900 social welfare institutions participated in the contest. KT&G Welfare Foundation finally selected 100 institutions deemed to have priority support needs based on evaluation criteria such as necessity, effectiveness, and suitability.

A KT&G Welfare Foundation official said, “We have been supporting compact cars for 20 years to help local social welfare institutions volunteering in harsh environments,” and added, “We hope the supported vehicles will be used valuably for local social welfare activities.”
