SNT Dynamics Presents Mortars and Transmissions
Aiming Beyond Self-Defense to Global 'K-Defense' Market
SNT Group's leading defense companies, SNT Motive and SNT Dynamics, participated in the 'Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (ADEX 2023)' which opened on the 17th. The event will be held for six days until the 22nd at Seongnam Seoul Airport.
Global small-caliber firearms manufacturer SNT Motive and SNT Dynamics, which produces automatic cannons and automatic transmissions for tracked vehicles, showcased a variety of mass-produced firearms and new weapons currently under development in a 360㎡ exhibition space.
SNT Motive exhibited K-series small-caliber firearms including the recently designated K13 submachine gun (STC16), STSM21 submachine gun, new hammerless type STP9 pistol, as well as K15/K15 PARA (for export) machine guns, K16 machine gun, and STSR23 semi-automatic sniper rifle.

View original imageThe K13 submachine gun, selected for the Special Operations Submachine Gun Type II project, was developed with proprietary technology applying global trends in rifle development. Additionally, accuracy and durability have been improved based on the latest manufacturing technologies.
Following the combat suitability assessment in April, a supply contract was signed with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, and it is scheduled to be deployed starting in December. Based on this, SNT Motive plans to invest more actively in research and development for the next rifle project.
SNT Dynamics also exhibited a 120mm mortar system, a 1500-horsepower powerpack, a 20mm Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS), K6 medium machine gun, and a 1000-horsepower automatic transmission for tracked vehicles.
SNT Dynamics plans to mount the 120mm mortar system on various platforms such as Light Tactical Vehicles (LTV), Multi-Purpose Tactical Vehicles (MPV), and Wheeled Armored Vehicles (WAV), aiming for domestic supply and exports to European NATO countries.
At this exhibition, SNT Motive and SNT Dynamics will hold business meetings with military officials and overseas buyers regarding firearms including pistols, rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles in a full line-up, as well as key defense products in the mobile firepower sector such as medium machine guns, automatic cannon systems, and automatic transmissions for tracked vehicles.
