APR Launches Next-Generation Beauty Device 'BoosterPro'
6 Types of Care Implementing 4 Device Modes with LED and Vibration
Beauty tech company APR's beauty device brand 'MediCube AGE-R' has launched a new product, the ‘Booster Pro,’ accelerating its domestic and international market expansion.
APR announced on the 17th the official launch of the new AGE-R beauty device, ‘Booster Pro.’ As the brand’s seventh beauty device, Booster Pro is the third new product introduced by APR this year and represents the ‘next-generation beauty device’ signaling a generational shift from existing products.
Booster Pro is designed with the concept of '6 in 1,' incorporating various technologies into a single device to provide six care functions: radiance, elasticity, volume, pores, vibration, and therapy. The core main modes are divided into four types: ‘Booster Mode,’ ‘Microcurrent (MC) Mode,’ ‘EMS Mode,’ and ‘Air Shot Mode.’ Additionally, a vibration function that changes patterns according to the main mode and a phototherapy function that irradiates LED light for enhanced skin care effects have been added.
Technologies considering safety and convenience have also been introduced. First, the head part, which directly contacts the customer’s skin, is equipped with the latest skin contact sensors so that LED lighting is only activated when the device touches the skin. Furthermore, responding to customers’ desires for a smart beauty device, Bluetooth functionality has been added. Through linkage with the ‘AGE-R’ application, users can remotely control the device and check skin care reports that automatically record their usage patterns.
APR has decided to produce all units of Booster Pro through ‘APR Factory.’ Located in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, APR Factory is APR’s in-house specialized beauty device production facility, evaluated to have an annual production capacity of up to 700,000 units. When APR Factory was unveiled, APR announced plans for ‘value chain internalization,’ managing everything from planning and development to production and logistics of beauty devices in-house. Booster Pro will be the first product distributed after APR achieves value chain internalization.
