Ligne Construction-Hoban Construction, Challenging for Third Consecutive Success in Private Park Special Project
This Month, 'WiPark The One' Launch at Ilgok Park, Gwangju
The Third Project Following WiPark Mareuk Park and WiPark The Central
Line Construction and Hoban Construction have joined forces to launch the third private park special project in Gwangju Metropolitan City. Having achieved success in the previous two private park special projects (We Park Mareuk Park, We Park The Central), both companies are expecting favorable results for this project as well.
According to Line Construction and Hoban Construction on the 16th, the two companies will begin sales of 'We Park The One' at Ilgok Park in Gwangju Metropolitan City this month. This is the third private park special project following the sales of 'We Park Mareuk Park' in March and 'We Park The Central' at Jungang Park in August of this year.
The two previous private park special projects conducted by the companies were very popular. First, in March, 'We Park Mareuk Park' in Gwangju, which offered 641 units for general sale out of a total of 917 units, attracted 5,639 applicants in the first priority subscription, recording an average competition rate of 8.8 to 1 and a highest rate of 22.59 to 1, selling out within two months. 'We Park The Central,' sold in August, also saw 2,312 applicants for 529 units available for general subscription out of a total of 625 units, resulting in an average competition rate of 4.37 to 1.
Private park special project apartments have the major advantage of being located within parks, providing a pleasant environment. According to related regulations, apartment construction is allowed on up to 30% of the total park area nationwide, with the national average around 20%, but Gwangju permits only about 9%, the lowest in the country, making these projects especially popular.
'We Park The One' at Ilgok Park consists of a total of 1,004 units from three basement floors to 28 above-ground floors, larger in scale than the previous two complexes, and features only medium to large units of 84㎡ and 138㎡.
Additionally, Ilgok Park, where the complex is located, is being developed as a massive park of approximately 1 million square meters, and since it is situated in the Ilgok district, known as a prestigious school district in Gwangju, it boasts an excellent educational environment with 13 schools concentrated within a 1 km radius.
The planned Gwangju Line 2 Ilgok Station (tentative name), which connects to all parts of Gwangju, is expected to be about 300 meters from the complex, and the road network connecting inside and outside Gwangju, including Seogwangju IC, Yangil-ro, Bitgoeul-daero, and Uchi-ro, is well established. Convenience facilities in the Ilgok district, such as large supermarkets, government offices, banks, hospitals, and various commercial facilities, are also nearby.

A sales representative from Line Construction said, “We have sold two private park special project apartments this year, and we are confident that the Ilgok Park project is more competitive than the previous projects. Especially in the Ilgok district, the newest apartments were built around 2001, so there are many apartments over 20 years old, and there is high demand for new medium to large apartments.”
