The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kang Seok-jin, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 13th that it signed a business agreement with Infineon Technologies (hereinafter Infineon), a global company in the power systems and IoT (Internet of Things) sectors, in Singapore.
This agreement was promoted to discover promising startups applying semiconductor technology in advanced fields such as future mobility and eco-friendly energy, and to nurture them into global startups through open innovation with global large corporations.
SBC and Infineon agreed to mutually cooperate to foster global startups by ▲ recommending, discovering, and nurturing promising startups in advanced fields ▲ supporting the overseas expansion of selected promising domestic startups ▲ expanding support bases for startups entering overseas markets.
SBC will select excellent startups, provide infrastructure, and connect follow-up investments. Infineon plans to support the selected startups with technical education and consulting, opportunities for local market access, and overseas expansion. Starting with this collaboration in Korea and Singapore, they also plan to discuss the possibility of expanding overseas support bases in the future.
