Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced on the 6th that on the afternoon of the 5th, it signed a business agreement with Seobu TND (CEO Seung Man-ho) to successfully promote the development project of the Seobu Truck Terminal Urban High-tech Logistics Complex and decided to build a large-scale public sports facility in the public contribution space.
This agreement concerns the public contribution of Yangcheon-gu to the Seobu Truck Terminal Urban High-tech Logistics Complex development project being promoted in the area of 1315, Sinjeong 3-dong. The agreement includes ▲ the spatial and content scope of the public contribution ▲ types, locations, scale, and provision methods of the public contribution.
The Seobu Truck Terminal Urban High-tech Logistics Complex development project was designated as a pilot complex by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in June 2016. After seven years, in August of this year, the logistics complex plan was approved and announced, and a next-generation logistics hub with a total floor area of 104,000㎡ and buildings ranging from 7 basement floors to 25 above-ground floors is scheduled to be constructed in the area.
Furthermore, the large site will not only include logistics facilities but also large apartment complexes and shopping centers, transforming into a state-of-the-art complex combining residential, shopping, and logistics functions, expected to become a regional landmark.
In particular, under the agreement with the project implementer, the public contribution space provided to the district will include the Sinjeong Sports Center, with a total floor area of 17,000㎡, housing facilities such as a bowling alley, swimming pool, and indoor tennis courts from the 5th to the 7th floors above the upper facility. It is expected to contribute to providing various leisure activities and promoting health for residents in the future.

The Seobu Truck Terminal Urban High-tech Logistics Complex is scheduled to begin construction in the first half of 2025 after obtaining housing construction project plan approval and building permits, aiming for completion in 2028.
Lee Gi-jae, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, said, “Through this business agreement, we have cooperatively reached an agreement with the project implementer regarding the public contribution of the Seobu Truck Terminal,” adding, “I hope the Sinjeong Sports Center will establish itself as a practical convenience facility that can meet the diverse needs of residents in the future.” He also stated, “We will do our best to support the remaining administrative procedures so that the Seobu Truck Terminal can become a landmark representing the southwestern region.”
