Sejong University Hosts Lee Kyungja Artist Invitational Exhibition... Over 40 Works on Display
'Night Observation_Root' Theme Event Held
Sejong University Sejong Museum Gallery will showcase the works of artist Lee Kyung-ja, who has long contemplated the existence and order of fundamental life through wetlands, from the 5th to the 22nd.
According to Sejong University on the 4th, this invitational exhibition will be held at the Sejong Museum Gallery located in the Daeyang AI Center at Sejong University. The exhibition features a total of about 40 works, including new attempts using acrylic paint in addition to traditional materials such as Korean paper (Sunjji) combined with ink, color, or lacquer. Visitors can attend free of charge.

The Sejong Museum Gallery stated, "This exhibition allows viewers to appreciate the extinction and circulation process of life born with water within abstract canvases expressed through lines and dots," adding, "Under the theme ‘Yaseup Gwanjo (野濕觀照)_Origin,’ it will be an exhibition where visitors can witness the artist’s monumental footprint after over 40 years of contemplation on wetlands (濕地)."
