Gyeonggi Office of Education to Recruit 1,875 Public Middle School Teachers Next Year
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will recruit 1,875 teachers for public middle and high schools next year. This is an increase of 120 compared to this year.
On the 4th, the Office of Education announced the "2024 Academic Year Gyeonggi Province Secondary, Health, Librarian, Professional Counseling, Nutrition, and Special (Secondary) Teacher Appointment Candidate Selection Competitive Examination Implementation Plan."
The number of recruits includes ▲1,444 general teachers ▲84 health teachers ▲13 librarians ▲80 professional counselors ▲45 nutritionists ▲75 special education teachers (including national schools) ▲and 134 teachers commissioned for private schools.
Compared to this year, only the commissioned recruitment for private school teachers decreased by 23, while all other categories increased.
The increases are 39 for general teachers, 21 for health, 9 for librarians, 30 for professional counseling, 9 for nutrition, and 35 for special education.
The Office of Education will accept applications through the online teacher recruitment system from the 16th to the 20th of this month.
The exam will be divided into two stages: the first exam will be held on November 25, and the second exam will be conducted by recruitment category on January 17 and January 23?24 of next year for those who pass the first exam.
