The Ulsan City government is conducting a nationwide contest to discover and foster souvenirs that reflect the local characteristics. The "2023 Ulsan City Tourism Souvenir Contest" will be held from November 9 to 17.
The contest targets practical and portable folk crafts, industrial products, processed and functional foods, etc., that reflect Ulsan's culture and environment, such as whales and the 12 scenic spots of Ulsan, and must be commercializable.
This contest is open nationwide to discover a variety of tourism souvenirs.
Applications for the contest documents can be submitted via email from November 9 to November 17. Items can be sent by mail from November 13 to November 17, or submitted in person on November 20.

Ulsan City will select a total of 20 winning entries through expert evaluation. Prizes include 1 Grand Prize of 5 million KRW, 1 Gold Prize of 3 million KRW, 3 Silver Prizes of 1.5 million KRW each, 5 Bronze Prizes of 500,000 KRW each, 5 Encouragement Awards of 300,000 KRW each, and 5 Honorable Mentions of 200,000 KRW each, totaling 17.5 million KRW in prize money.
