Group BTS member Jungkook's solo single '3D' dominated the global music market from the first day of its release, topping the iTunes 'Top Songs' charts in 100 countries and regions. It also entered Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart at number 3.
According to Big Hit Music on the 1st, BTS member Jungkook's second solo single 3D (feat. Jack Harlow), released on the 29th of last month, ranked number 1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in 100 countries and regions including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, and Japan on the 30th (local time). Versions such as 3D (Instrumental) and 3D (Alternate Ver.) also ranked 2nd and 3rd on multiple countries' iTunes Top Songs charts, proving its global influence.
On the latest chart (dated September 29) announced by Japan's Oricon the previous day, 3D entered the 'Daily Digital Single Ranking' at number 1 with 10,519 downloads.
On Spotify's latest chart, it was streamed 6,328,084 times, immediately ranking 3rd on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart.
The 3D music video also gained popularity. Right after its release, the music video ranked number 1 on YouTube's trending videos in the United States and the United Kingdom, and topped trending video charts in several countries and regions, surpassing 10 million views in about 15 hours.
Jungkook's second solo single 3D is an R&B pop song characterized by a minimal instrumental arrangement, a striking rhythm, and repetitive catchy sounds. The song conveys a message of wanting to meet the 'you' beyond the first and second dimensions in the third dimension and always be together as 'us.' American rapper Jack Harlow also participated as a featured artist.
