Photo and Video Contest to Vividly Capture Seongdong-gu's Charm... Anyone Can Submit Photos or Videos (Short-form), with a Grand Prize of 1 Million Won
Seongdong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jung Won-oh) is holding the ‘Seongdong-gu Landmark Photo and Video Contest’ until October 2 to promote the vibrant charm of the district.
The contest, themed ‘A city that adds happiness to everyday life, #ILiveInSeongdong,’ invites anyone to capture and submit photos or short-form videos showcasing Seongdong-gu’s main landmarks, culture, arts, education, welfare facilities, and everything worth boasting about.
Those interested in participating can refer to the Seongdong-gu Office website and submit their application form along with their entries via email by October 2.
The district will select a total of 32 works by category through a two-stage judging process based on suitability, usability, and artistic quality, with results announced on October 25. Awards include a grand prize of 1,000,000 KRW, two excellence awards of 500,000 KRW each, three encouragement awards of 300,000 KRW each, and ten effort awards of 100,000 KRW each. Winning works will be posted on the district’s official blog and actively used as promotional materials to introduce Seongdong-gu.
