Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 26th that it will operate the 'Hwasun Agricultural Specialties Direct Market for Chuseok.'
The market will be held on the 27th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Hwasun-gun Office.
Seventeen companies will participate, selling over 70 items of agricultural specialties produced and processed in Hwasun-gun, including Shine Muscat grapes, cherry tomatoes, melons, king oyster mushrooms, Bulminari Injinssuk juice, traditional Korean sweets (Hangwa), honey, red ginseng extract, and Sikhye, at prices discounted from market rates.
The direct market provides producers with opportunities to promote and distribute Hwasun's agricultural specialties, while consumers can purchase these products at prices lower than the market price.
