Recruitment of Specialized Companies with Logistics Facility Construction Capabilities
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kang Seok-jin, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 26th that it will publicly recruit a specialized service provider to establish an advanced automated smart logistics equipment line for the 'Logistics Center exclusively for Small and Medium Enterprises' to be built in the Incheon Airport 2nd Airport Logistics Complex.
SBC signed a business agreement with Incheon International Airport Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Incheon Airport Corporation) last year and is promoting the establishment of the nation's first air export-dedicated logistics center to resolve logistics difficulties and strengthen the competitiveness of export SMEs.
The currently planned logistics center exclusively for SMEs aims to commence operations in the second half of 2025 by introducing advanced automated smart logistics equipment. Incheon Airport Corporation will construct the logistics center as a two-story building, and SBC will establish it so that all logistics processes such as receipt, storage, packaging, and shipment of export goods can be performed in one space.
SBC plans to select a service provider with experience and expertise in logistics center construction to realize an advanced logistics center that meets the demands of small and medium venture businesses. The selected service provider will directly perform ▲ logistics line design including express cargo customs clearance (bypass), commercial shipper terminal operation, and fulfillment provision ▲ logistics equipment simulation, installation, introduction, and performance testing ▲ user training and maintenance for operational equipment.

Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of SBC, said, “The degree of automation and smart logistics implementation in the logistics center exclusively for SMEs can alleviate the logistics cost burden of export SMEs and strengthen export competitiveness,” adding, “We hope that many capable companies with automated smart logistics technology will participate.”
