Purchasing Goods and Encouraging Merchants at Hapcheon Wanghu Traditional Market
On the 25th, Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, went out to communicate with and encourage merchants in traditional markets across the province ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
Visiting Hapcheon Wanghu Traditional Market that day, Governor Park personally purchased ritual fruits and listened to the merchants' difficulties while checking the price and supply trends of Chuseok seasonal goods.

Governor Park said, "In celebration of Chuseok, we will prioritize stabilizing the livelihood economy and do our utmost to prepare measures to stabilize prices so that the burden on residents due to rising prices does not increase." He added, "Revitalizing traditional markets leads directly to regional economic revitalization, so I hope residents will use traditional markets frequently."
Following this, Governor Park paid respects at the Atomic Bomb Victims Memorial and visited a welfare center to extend Chuseok greetings and deliver consolation gifts to elderly residents.
He promised, "Gyeongnam Province will pay close attention to ensure that the elderly can live healthy and happy later years."
