Lee Hak-su, Jeongeup Mayor, Urges Minimizing Administrative Gaps During Chuseok Holiday
Lee Hak-su, former mayor of Jeongeup City, Jeollabuk-do, emphasized the preparation of functional measures to establish public service discipline and minimize citizen inconvenience during the upcoming Chuseok holiday period at a video executive meeting on the 25th.
Mayor Lee said, “Prepare and inspect administrative measures to minimize administrative gaps and ensure no inconvenience to citizens during the six-day Chuseok holiday period,” adding, “Especially, make sure that no public service discipline violations such as drunk driving occur.”
He continued, “When complaints arise, on-duty staff should kindly and accurately guide and explain to the complainants based on precise grounds to minimize inconvenience to citizens and returning visitors during the holiday.”
Additionally, he instructed, “Conduct facility inspections for various events such as Citizen’s Day events and Gujeolcho Flower Festival before and after Chuseok to ensure safe events and festivals.”
Mayor Lee also ordered the swift execution of budgets related to social welfare and construction payments before Chuseok to create a joyful and happy holiday atmosphere.
