The 2nd Eunpyeong-gu Residents' Autonomy Association Harmony Festival Held
Held on October 7 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Bulgwangcheon Floating Stage and Walking Trail
Eunpyeong-gu Residents' Autonomy Committee Promotes Achievements of the Past 5 Years and Hosts Various Events
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that the 2nd ‘Resident Autonomy Association Harmony Festival’ will be held on October 7 at the Bulgwangcheon Water Stage and walking trail.
Hosted by Eunpyeong-gu and organized by the Eunpyeong-gu Resident Autonomy Council, the 2nd Resident Autonomy Association Harmony Festival is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Since 2021, all 16 neighborhoods in Eunpyeong-gu have completed the formation of resident autonomy associations. With a budget of 100 million KRW per neighborhood, totaling 1.6 billion KRW, resident general meetings are being held to select village projects that residents want and need.
This event will be held to provide an opportunity for the 16 neighborhood resident autonomy association committees to operate promotional booths, promote the activities and projects they have carried out so far, communicate with local residents, and discover new village agendas. Through this, Eunpyeong-gu aims to create a chance for the resident autonomy associations to further harmonize and develop with the local community.
Along with the promotional booths, various experience booths such as ▲Life Photo Booth ▲Personal Color ▲Caricature ▲Retro Arcade, and a program presentation showcasing the skills of the autonomy center students will be held. Additionally, performances by several invited singers and food trucks will be available, creating a festival full of sights, entertainment, and food.
