Gwangju Police Agency Launches 'Chuseok Special Crime Prevention Activities'
The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency is conducting a 'special method operation' in preparation for the Chuseok holiday.
Since the 18th of last month until the 3rd of next month, patrols have been focused on multi-use facilities and vulnerable points, and full efforts are being made to prevent crimes such as monitoring domestic violence reports.
A cooperative system has also been established to proactively respond through 10,069 CCTVs installed throughout the Gwangju area and video patrols by control personnel.
When the police provide analysis data on crime-prone locations and time periods, the control center designates video patrol routes and conducts focused monitoring.
