Recommended Suncheonman Wetland Embroidered with Reed Fields on the Golden Autumn Beach

If the golden beach of summer is a white sandy beach, the golden beach of autumn is the Suncheon Bay Wetland embroidered with reed fields. The sight of golden reeds swaying in the wind creating a magnificent view is more beautiful than the cherry blossoms in spring.

Suncheon Bay is a wetland where seawater and freshwater meet and mix, home to various creatures, and is one of Korea's representative sites where winter migratory birds such as the Hooded Crane and the Yellow-billed Spoonbill inhabit.

To observe migratory birds living in the vast mudflats and reed colonies, which are about twice the size of Yeouido in Seoul, up close, the Suncheon Bay Wetland ecological experience boat tour is perfect.

The boat tour departs from Daedae Dock, passes through the S-shaped tidal creek, and returns to Daedae Dock, covering a round trip of 6 km in about 35 minutes.

Especially this year, the Suncheon Bay Eosing-gil has been established along the coast of Suncheon Bay Wetland, gaining popularity among tourists as a new sightseeing course.

The Suncheon Bay Eosing-gil is a barefoot trail consisting of three courses (Ramsar Trail, World Heritage Trail, and Tidal Creek Trail) totaling 4.5 km from Suncheon Bay Wetland to Jangsan Village in Byeollyang-myeon, allowing visitors to enjoy views of the Suncheon Bay mudflats and beautiful reed fields together.

The Suncheon Bay Wetland, where various creatures play, plans to offer performances every Saturday in October, including traditional Korean music, Western classical music, and popular music, providing tourists with the joy of both seeing the beautiful reed fields and listening to music.
