Hapcheon-gun Conducts Safety Inspections of Multi-use Facilities During Chuseok Holiday
Joint Inspection Conducted with Safety Management Advisory Group Comprising Private Experts in Electrical and Fire Safety Fields
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 20th that it conducted on-site safety inspections of multi-use facilities expected to be used by many returning visitors and residents during the Chuseok holiday period.
The inspections targeted two sales facilities, one transportation facility, and one cultural facility, specifically ▲Hapcheon Wanghusi Market ▲Hapcheon Nonghyup Hanaro Mart Main Branch ▲Hapcheon Intercity Bus Terminal ▲Small Cinema Hapcheon Cinema.
On the day, Gyeongnam Province formed its own inspection team and conducted joint inspections together with the Hapcheon-gun inspection team and the Safety Management Advisory Group, which consists of private experts in the fields of electricity and fire safety.
The inspection focused on ▲the appropriateness of the fire safety plan establishment ▲appointment of safety managers ▲availability of emergency contact networks ▲maintenance of safety inspection logs ▲placement of fire extinguishers in appropriate locations ▲proper operation of receivers and generators ▲and the lighting status of emergency exit signs.
According to the county, minor issues found during the inspection were immediately corrected on-site, and areas requiring improvement were recommended for enhancement, with requests to carry out repairs and reinforcements before the holiday.
