View original imageLee Soo-hee, the mayor of Gangdong-gu, has recently been visiting six traditional markets in the district to check on the livelihood conditions ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
Gangdong-gu, Seoul, announced on the 19th that Mayor Lee has been actively promoting the use of traditional markets for holiday shopping to residents and encouraging merchants ahead of Chuseok.
The mayor said, “I hope this will be a great support to the merchants who are going through difficult times due to the frozen economy ahead of the holiday season,” and added, “I kindly ask local residents to use nearby traditional markets frequently, and I wish everyone a bountiful Chuseok with their families, like a full and generous harvest moon.”
