Yeongdeok-gun Mokjae Munhwa Experience Center, 'Free' Trial Operation Before Official Opening
Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will begin a pilot operation of the 'Yeongdeok Wood Culture Experience Center,' established to provide local residents and tourists with various daily goods made from wood and wood culture experiences, starting from the 19th.
The Yeongdeok Wood Culture Experience Center is located in the Forest Ecology Park in Changpo-ri, Yeongdeok-eup, where the Junk Trick Art Exhibition Hall and Renewable Energy Exhibition Hall are situated, with Haemaji Park nearby.
The total floor area is 1,599㎡. The first floor houses a living craft production space where visitors can make wooden products such as pencil cases, and the second floor features a wooden play experience room designed as a children's play area.
During this pilot operation period, the second-floor wooden play experience room will be open to the public, while the first-floor living craft production space is developing programs by hiring wood education experts and will join the pilot operation once preparations are complete.
