Pharmaceutical Bio Job Fair Opens on the 19th... 67 Companies and Institutions Participate
Over 1,100 Consultations Scheduled
Recruitment Briefings, Job Strategy Lectures, Mentoring, Consulting, and More
The "2023 Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio Recruitment Fair," jointly hosted by the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, and the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare, will open on the 19th.

View original imageThe recruitment fair, held at the 1st Exhibition Hall of the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, will begin with an opening ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on the same day. The Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the National Assembly, and heads of related organizations plan to visit the site to encourage job seekers.
The fair venue is organized and operated with recruitment booths, an academy hall, a recruitment briefing hall, a career consulting hall, and a job mentoring hall. The host organizations, including the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association, the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare, the AI New Drug Development Support Center, and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, will operate promotional booths.
A total of 67 companies and institutions are expected to participate in the on-site recruitment fair. At the fair, 60 companies from the pharmaceutical, bio, digital health, and artificial intelligence sectors will set up recruitment booths and conduct 1,103 consultations for job seekers visiting the site.
Seven institutions, including the Safety Evaluation Research Institute, Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Industry Specialization, Dongguk University Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Bio Industry Specialization, Yonsei University Cooperative Program in Pharmaceutical Industry Studies, Yonsei University K-NIBRT, Korea Center for Regulatory Science, and Biohealth Innovation Convergence University, will form the academy hall to discover talent.
Thirteen companies will participate in the recruitment briefings. In Recruitment Briefing Hall A, the sessions will start at 10 a.m. with SK Bioscience, followed by Huons Group, HK Inno.N, Daewoong Pharmaceutical, BC World Pharm, and GC Green Cross in order. From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare will hold a special lecture titled "Customized Strategies for Employment Success." Hall B will operate from 10:40 a.m. to 4:20 p.m., with Daewon Pharmaceutical, Ildong Pharmaceutical, Medytox, Hits, JW Group, PharmaResearch, and Hanmi Pharmaceutical conducting recruitment briefings.
At the Job Mentoring Hall, a mentoring program will be provided where job seekers can freely consult with current professionals in their desired fields. Twenty mentors from 11 companies will offer mentoring to 672 job seekers in areas such as research and development (R&D), general management, production, sales, and marketing. The Career Consulting Hall will operate programs that provide information necessary for employment in the pharmaceutical and bio industries to assist with career planning.
In addition to the on-site fair, an online exclusive recruitment hall will be operated until December 31 this year. As of the 15th, 68 companies have posted 320 job announcements in the online recruitment hall. These postings have recorded approximately 430,000 views, with about 1,700 applicants.
On the day of the recruitment fair, prospective job seekers visiting the site will be provided with the "Pharmaceutical and Bio Industry Guidebook for Job Seekers." Additionally, to support job seekers, food trucks will be stationed on-site, and free beverage vouchers will be provided.
To enter the venue on the day of the recruitment fair, advance registration is required through membership registration on the official recruitment fair website. Upon membership registration, participants will receive a participation certificate via text message, which must be presented at the entrance on the day of the event. If advance registration was not completed, visitors can still enter by completing the registration process at the self-registration desk on-site.
A representative from the Korea Health Industry Development Institute stated, "We ask for the great interest of young people who will become key members of the pharmaceutical and bio industries, and we will strive to make this fair an opportunity for job seekers to secure employment at the companies they wish to join."
