CU×KB Kookmin Bank, 'Snack Attack Campus Competition' Event
Preparing snack truck gifts with get Coffee, Bakehouse405, and goods for midterm exams in October
CU announced on the 11th that it will hold the 'Snack Attack Campus Competition' event, where snack trucks will be gifted to support university students, in collaboration with KB Kookmin Bank starting from the 11th of next month.
CU and KB Kookmin Bank have prepared on-site university events using CU's signature product, get coffee, two types of premium bakery Bakehouse405 soft rolls, and various goods, timed to coincide with the midterm exam period in October.
Get coffee is a steady seller at CU, with approximately 200 million cups sold annually. Bakehouse405 is a recently launched differentiated bakery brand that achieved sales of 100,000 units within a week of its release, ranking first in CU's exclusive bread sales.
To participate in the event, university students can automatically apply by verifying their student status (email) on the KB Star Banking application (app) event page from September 11 to October 6. The three universities with the highest number of entries will be selected, and snack trucks will be sent between October 16 and 27, during the midterm exam period.
Unlike typical events decided by lottery, this event is based on the highest participation, which also reflects the affection for one's alma mater and fellow students. The snack truck gifts will be provided free of charge to a total of about 6,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis across the three selected schools.
CU and KB Kookmin Bank planned this campus event to support university students, who are key future customers, and to offer a unique enjoyment. They explained that through this distinctive collaboration between distribution and finance sectors, they are also focusing on creating new customers and strengthening brand image.
Starting with this Snack Attack Campus Competition event, the two companies plan to prepare joint marketing targeting university students during the final exams and vacation periods as well.
