The proposed major policies include ▲Establishment of the Naejangho Ecoryum Observatory ▲Hosting the National Camping Competition at Naejangsan in Jeongeup ▲Promotion of sister city ties with the World Revolutionary Cities ▲Establishment of a smart city hall guidance system ▲Jeongeup-style growth-up job projects ▲Online application system for private water supply construction ▲Creation of a new general industrial complex ▲Installation of unmanned mental health screening devices ▲Saemgol Citizen Garden Contest ▲Healthy food convergence commercialization project utilizing Jeongeup’s specialty resources, among others.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “In a situation where fiscal tightening is inevitable due to a decrease in local allocation tax, I hope that adjustments to major city projects and policies will be thoroughly made and unnecessary projects will be boldly abolished. Please prepare the reported projects without any setbacks and carry them out meticulously to gather our capabilities for the hopeful future of top Jeongeup.”
Meanwhile, the city plans to actively reflect the projects with high feasibility, considering budget appropriateness and expected effects, in next year’s budget formulation based on the policy projects discovered this time.
