Only 'Senior' Elementary Students Attend... Ulsan Senior Elementary School Opens 2nd Semester
Vibrant Senior Support: Diverse Courses from September to November
Ulsan Senior Elementary School, attended by seniors aged 55 and over, will open for the second semester.
On the 7th at 10 a.m., Ulsan City announced that it will hold the opening ceremony for the second semester at the Ulsan Family Culture Center auditorium, with about 140 students and staff in attendance.
The opening ceremony will proceed in the order of a greeting from Principal Park Seon-gu, a congratulatory speech by Jeong Cheon-seok, Director of Ulsan Welfare Family Promotion Social Service, magic and theater performances, and an introduction to the second semester course plans.
Ulsan Senior Elementary School (Principal Park Seon-gu) was established this year for the first time as a pledge of the 8th elected administration of Ulsan City to support the settlement of baby boomer retirees in the region and their active senior life. The operation is managed by the Ulsan Welfare Family Promotion Service Institute.
This year, the number of students is 140 (aged 55 and over), and the education period is conducted in a one-year, two-semester system (1st semester from March to June, 2nd semester from September to November).
The main education venue is the Ulsan Family Culture Center, and the curriculum consists of various courses in general, specialized, leisure, and other fields.
