Busan Port Authority Establishes Management and Operation Guidelines for Boarding Bridges at International Passenger Terminal
Busan Port Authority (BPA) has established management and operation guidelines for boarding bridges, auxiliary facilities for boarding and disembarking, installed at the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal.
Boarding bridges are essential facilities for passengers to board and disembark from passenger ships, with a total of four installed at the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal.
To establish the guidelines, BPA collected opinions from direct users of the boarding bridges, including shipping companies and facility consignment managers, since June. The guidelines include operational and inspection details such as driver rules, checks during operation, and safety measures.
The authority plans to effectively disseminate these guidelines to related companies and manage the boarding bridges, which are used by many passengers, more safely and systematically.
